I had a semester of Gaelic in college but it didn't stick with me too well, sadly. I'd love to learn to speak it properly. All I can really say is "A Phadraig a chara, Baile Atha Cliath go deas anois." And "Ta ean -something that sounds like air- an gloch."

I learnt a few Irish phrases from a lass I worked with once. The only one I can still remember is "go raibh mile maith agat", but there was also a (to me) quite sexy idiom involving horses.
